Pine Haven Christian AssemblyThe purpose of Pine Haven Christian Assembly is to proclaim the Gospel message of Jesus Christ through quality camping facilities and programs. The staff and faculty are to be representatives and witnesses of Christ through their work and life at Pine Haven. Pine Haven is an extension of the church in carrying out the Great Commission of Jesus Christ.
PHCA’s quality program is led by volunteers. Over 30 ministry volunteers provide quality leadership for our programs each week. Volunteers work as cabin leaders, family leaders, teachers, speakers, worship leaders and more.
2013 saw a five-year high in attendance, while witnessing 39 decisions for baptism and 3 commitments to pursue full-time membership. God’s goodness was met with faithful hands and strong backs, saving thousands of dollars preparing the canteen for its 2014 grand opening.
Hundreds of volunteer faculty gave freely of personal vacation time to teach and model Christ through 18 camp sessions. Generous and faithful giving reduced the total debt to $103,000. Without a doubt, God has been great in His faithfulness and love.
The Camp board members are very thankful for volunteers, financial support and prayers.
