Function Meets Art

Join us for this 1.5 day course in the art of rodbuilding.  Each participant will be supplied with the finest quality materials to construct his or her one-of-a-kind functional piece of art.  Not only are they beautiful, they catch fish.  The rod blanks are 6’10” medium action with X-fast tips and high quality guides.  There are a variety of reel seat, foregrip, and grip options to choose from.  While the cost is $150 for the course, you will learn the valuable and fun art of rodbuilding that will continue to serve you well long into the future.  Your finished rod will be comparable to the G-Loomis GL3 line of rods you can see (and price) HERE.

Rodbuilding is a rewarding experience that will help you to be able to afford quality tools at a fraction of the cost.  You will not be sorry for spending a cold February weekend with us preparing for the 2016 opener.

This event is open to men, women, and adolescents 12 and over.  Please plan to attend both the Friday and Saturday sessions of the event as decorative thread art takes some time to learn and to complete.  Send us an email at [email protected] no later than February 8th to reserve your spot as space is limited.  Feel free to send us any questions you may have as well.  It is very possible that there are a few completed rods hanging in the pastor’s office if you would like a closer look.
