Show-Me Christian Youth Home is a faith-based organization dedicated to improving the lives of children struggling because of circumstances in their current home environment. We believe every child deserves a home, a family, the opportunity for a better future and an excellent eternity.
We are dedicated to promoting the individual development of each child through four major areas:
1. Spiritually: Our child-care staff provides nurturing from God’s Word through daily prayers, weekly
participation in church/youth group activities, camps and Vacation Bible School programs.
2. Academically: Some of our children attend the public school, where the faculty works closely with
Show-Me staff to help them achieve academic success. At Show-Me Christian School, children gain
skills by participating in farm and home tasks.
3. Emotionally: Our goal is to assure hurting youngsters that God loves them, we love them and they
can learn to love themselves. Child-care staff, trained and dedicated house parents and
our licensed counselor, help them confront the issues and work through the healing process.
4. Physically: Families enjoy nutritious meals together in their homes. Plenty of open space and
recreational facilities and school activities promote healthy lifestyles. Medical, dental and eye care
are also available to each child.
